Invited Lecture at NIT Arunachal Pradesh
My recent visit to NIT Arunachal Pradesh was an enriching and inspiring experience, set against the breathtaking landscape of India’s northeastern frontier. The institute is making remarkable strides in research, particularly in renewable energy integration, micro-hydel, and solar lab development. I had the privilege of delivering an invited lecture on building a startup in the EV mobility sector, exploring its challenges, opportunities, and the roadmap for aspiring entrepreneurs in this space.

The Research Excellence at NIT Arunachal Pradesh
One of the most impressive aspects of my visit was witnessing the cutting-edge work being done in power electronics and grid-tie connectivity. Under the leadership of Dr. Rajen Pudur, the research teams at NIT Arunachal Pradesh are pioneering advancements in renewable energy systems, particularly in creating efficient micro-hydel power plants and solar-based grid integrations. Their efforts are not just academic but have real-world implications, particularly in decentralized energy solutions for remote and off-grid locations.
The Lecture: A Deep Dive into EV Mobility Startups
The focus of my lecture was on the challenges, opportunities, and roadmap for startups in the Electric Vehicle (EV) mobility sector.
